5 Grand-In-Hand is a monthly contest in which homebuyers can register to win $5000 toward their down payment! You just select specially marked open houses that you wish to attend in Sunday's Homeplace, the Journal's real estate section.

Then you visit the "5 Grand" open house that you selected and fill out an entry blank for the "5 Grand-In-Hand" contest.

Entries are qualified each week, and a winner is chosen each month of the contest. If you close on a home within 90 days of being selected, you receive $5,000 toward the down payment on the home you buy!
