Dedicated agents helped RE/MAX Realty Consultants continue to excel in 2007

Brent Bruner likes to tell people that "good help is easy to find" at RE/MAX Realty Consultants, and the company's success in 2007 backs up his claim. In a market that left many industry experts shaking their heads in bewilderment, RE/MAX Realty Consultants recorded positive sales growth in 2007, and Bruner attributes the figures to a group of extremely talented agents.
"We are one of very, very few real-estate companies that had a record year in 2007, and with the economy the way it is, that is saying something," said Bruner, the chairman of RE/MAX Realty Consultants. "Regardless of what you see on television from a national standpoint, all real estate is local business, and everything is in place for us to have another record year in 2008."
During a recent black-tie dinner in Charlotte, many agents from RE/MAX Realty Consultants were recognized for their achievements in 2007, and the following people received awards:

"The foundation and core principals of RE/MAX are entrepreneurial in nature, and we treat our agents as independent contractors," Bruner said. "RE/MAX is the only major real-estate company that is still privately owned."
"We take a family approach," said RRC president and broker-in-charge Christa Holt. "We care about each agent, and we want to do whatever we can to help."
"And we have a great staff," Bruner said. "Our agents stop me in the hall and thank me for our staff."
Bruner said that he is extremely proud of the award winners and believes that the inherent business philosophy at RRC serves both agents and the public well.
"At RE/MAX, all people are created equal, and there is no such thing as a small deal," he said. "Every transaction is another family we've served."
