Olde Fields offers affordable new construction near Reagan High
By Cindy Hodnett HomePlace Writer
When Reagan High School was built several years ago, it brought renewed attention to the available housing options in the Pfafftown area. Long recognized as a community of farmhouses interspersed among classic ranches, Pfafftown had plenty of older properties for buyers to choose from, but new construction was rare.
As interest in this part of Forsyth County continued to grow, the building activity began to pick up as well. Today, there are several new communities in the region, including Olde Fields, a cozy neighborhood of upscale homes where luxury and affordability coexist.
"A nice, long entry brings you into Olde Fields, and then the community just seems to open up," said Coldwell Banker Triad, Realtors' Wendy Taylor. "Woods surround many of the houses, and the neighborhood offers a very attractive price point for a highly sought after area."
Currently, homes in Olde Fields range from $325,000 to $400,000. All of the properties feature large lots and easy access to Robinhood Road amenities by Lewisville-Vienna Road.
On the less-expensive end of the price spectrum, Lot 32 lists for $325,000 and has three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The one-story plan has an indoor/outdoor see-through fireplace in the great room, certain to be enjoyed on cool evenings. The master suite features a trey ceiling, a jetted tub in the bathroom, and hardwood floors and granite countertops in the common areas.
Timber columns accent the all-brick exterior of Lot 18, a three-bedroom, four-bath property that lists for $349,900. A soaring ceiling accompanies a stone fireplace and hardwood floors, the perfect setting for relaxed gatherings and impromptu entertaining.
A comfortable kitchen with a large breakfast room anchors Lot 42. Listed at $355,900, this home has four bedrooms, two and a half baths, and a master suite with three walk-in closets and a separate office/sitting room. The large laundry includes a sink and cabinetry, and after the wash chores are done, a screened porch awaits.
At Lot 46, a brick and stone home has a plaza garage entrance, a main-level master bedroom and a great room with a two-story fireplace. For this home, the builder is offering $3,000 in buyer incentives until April 30.
For $395,000, buyers can choose Lot 43, a four-bedroom, three-bath home with a large kitchen and keeping room, and a covered porch. Situated on a corner lot, this property has a brick and stone exterior and a side-entry garage.
The diverse prices at Olde Fields matches the variety of housing available. Families who want to be in the Reagan School district will find plenty of style and floor-plan options, and the luxury features that have been incorporated into each home are certain to attract buyers who are seeking elegant interiors.
